Jane Elizabeth Schaffer

Jane E. Schaffer, 74, of, Navarre, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1942 in Easton, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Easton High School. Jane worked in Respite Care for many years. Her greatest passion in life was being a care giver. She also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her friends at Massillon Senior Center. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Lois (Howard) Girer of Mullica Hill, NJ; brothers, Robert Klotz of Nazareth, PA and Tom Klotz of Bethlehem, PA and her second family which includes Katie (Andy) Harter, Cody W. Dunbar and Ivy M. Randles. Jane was preceded in death by her foster parents, Jesse and Ruth Klotz, sister-in-law, Angela (Robert) Klotz and dear friend, Shirley Dunbar. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 1- 2 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The funeral will take place immediately following at 2 p.m. with Dr. Cliff Price officiating. Burial will be at East Union Lawn Cemetery.
