Jane E. Barnhouse, 78 of Perry Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 04, 2020. She was born in Massillon on March 09, 1942, to the late Chester and Carrie Mae(Wiggins) Kracker. Jane was a 1960 graduate of Perry High School. She married David Barnhouse on May 18, 1963, by Reverend Neal Pergande and they shared 57 years together until her passing. Jane worked as a Payroll Clerk at Timken and later as a Title Clerk for SCADA and then Holland Pontiac until her retirement. Jane’s pride and joy was her family and being there for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, going to the beach and going to her grandchildren’s school and sport activities. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory, David her husband of 57 years; her children Michael (Erin) Barnhouse, Amy (Scott) Beatty, and Julie (John) Hopple; her grandchildren Marlowe (Lucas) Daugherty, Carolyn (Ty) Husted, Meredith Beatty, Camille Beatty, Owen Beatty, Anna Hopple, Mia Hopple, Lane Barnhouse; her sister Carol (Larry) Clark; her brothers John Kracker and James (Nancy) Kracker and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Jane was preceded in death by her nephew Todd Kracker and her niece Sandi Westfall. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic a Private Family Gathering will be live streamed on Monday, June 08, 2020 from 12-2p.m. Private family burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
