Jane C Fenton

Jane Christina Fenton, 78, of Massillon, Ohio went to Heaven on July 12th, 2022. She was born in Massillon on February 24,1944. Daughter of the late Elmer and Florence Jordan. Jane is survived by her children Chrissy (Steve), Tiffany, Joey (Shannon), daughter-in-law Laurel, grandchildren Carissa, Ashley, Steven, Luke, Sloane, Joey Jr and great grandchildren Brayden, Trent, Cruz, Sophia and Steven Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph “Mike”, and son Shane. Jane graduated from Central Catholic High-school in 1962. She worked many years for the Timken Company before taking the reigns of the family business Fenton Construction. Jane also owned and managed many rental properties over the years. After Mike passed, Jane went to Stark State to study psychology and was on the President's List every semester. Jane Fenton was the best mom ever, she loved her children more than anything. Jane loved her grandchildren like they were her own kids. She loved all her family dearly including her two brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She knew everyone's birthday and would check on her family members frequently. Jane was very intelligent and would always give perfect advice for any situation in life. She was a devout Catholic and loved Jesus dearly. She attended St. Mary’s church every Sunday. Some of her favorite things to do was spending time with her kids and grand kids, listening to music, especially her sons, Joey and Shane’s band, The Alibi. She loved dancing, and enjoyed movies and a good meal. Although she is now happily reunited in Heaven with her son Shane who passed tragically last year, and her husband and soulmate Mike, she will be missed terribly here on Earth. We love you Jane and your life will be remembered as a blessing. A funeral will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m, at Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral and Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park in Massillon.
