Jamier Armel Hudson

Jamier Hudson, 3 years old, of Massillon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2024. He was born on August 29, 2020, to Lateya Newman and Jonas Hudson.

Jamier was a special baby from birth. He came out of the womb with a halo wrapped around him and we knew the day he was born that he was a special gift from God. Jamier made an impact on everyone he knew. He always had the biggest smile on his face, and truly brightened every room he entered. Jamier was always moving around and having fun, he loved to dance, play outside, and drive his motorized car,big wheel and his bike. Jamier loved Sonic, Spider-Man and Tom and Jerry. He was an enthusiastic and happy kid who loved his family very much. "Man Man" particulary enjoyed spending time with his Paw Paw, they had the best handshake head to head. He did not like to share his Paw Paw.Jamier always looked forward to seeing his mommy. He would always say that he loved her "more and more and more." Jamier was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, cousin, and nephew, and he will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jamier is preceded in death by his cousin Lawrence Newman Jr. ; his uncle Lawrence Newman Sr.; aunt, Shirley Toles; grandfather, William Toles; grandmother, Mattie White; cousin, DeAndre White; grandfather, Jonas Alexander; and aunt Ebony Huff.

Jamier is survived by his loving parents, Lateya Newman and Jonas Hudson; his twin brother, Javier Hudson; siblings, Zarianna Newman, Zaniah Stokes, Jay'cere Stokes, and Ta'shaun Smith; his Papa, Edward Newman; his Mawmaw, Shelia Newman; grandmother, Debra Hudson; great-grandmothers, Sandra Newman and Carolyn Mack; aunts, Shameika Newman and Jameka Hudson; uncles, Jarvis Alexander and Brian Bradford; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church. His Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday at 12:00 pm at Friendship Baptist with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
