Jamie M. Crowe

Jamie M. Crowe, 61, of Massillon, passed away on August 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Canton, Ohio on December 16, 1960, to the late James and Mary Alice (Homze) Poth. Jamie was a proud 1979 graduate of Washington High School and a Kent State Alumni with a bachelor’s degree in business. She grew up attending St. Mary’s Catholic Church but later in life became a member at St. Michael’s in Canton. Jamie had a strong work ethic and was a dedicated employee at K-Mart for over 30 years. She could also be described as generous and caring with a heart of gold. Jamie loved her family and was a devoted wife to her husband Mark, whom she married on September 7, 1991. Jamie and Mark also did a lot of travelling, which included many tours of old mansions. In addition to travelling, one of Jamie’s favorite things to do was to go on shopping spree, especially with her mom. Jamie will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of almost 32 years, Mark Crowe; her brother Jeff (Marie) Poth, sister Pam Poth and brother-in-law Bill Boyd; nieces Rachelle (Andy) Kujawa, Amanda (Ted) Rhodes, Sheila Crowe and Samantha (Bobby) Holmes; nephews Danny (Tana) Boyd, David Boyd, David (Lori) Crowe, Jr., Ben Crowe and Tim Crowe; great-nephews and niece, Danny, Will ,Tyler and Aria; and her furry companions Gracie and Jewels. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25th from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 26th at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St NE, Louisville, OH 44641 in memory of Jamie and her love for animals.
