James Walters, age 25 of Massillon, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1981 in Canton and is the son of Wayne and Sandra Hathaway. James lived in Urbana, IL until moving to Massillon in 1990. He worked for Kidron Body as a framer. James was an adventurer and enjoyed parachuting, running, sculpturing and drawing. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family. James was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dillon Casto and Donald Emerson. He is survived by; parents, Wayne and Sandra Hathaway of Massillon, brothers; Steven (Melody) Hartleben in Canton, Wayne D., William Hathaway and David Walters all of Massillon, sister; Victoria Hathaway of Massillon, grandmothers; Reva Casto of Massillon and Carol Emerson of MA, aunts; Karen Carpenter of Massillon and Dianne (David) Cummings of TX, uncles; Dean (Jen) Casto of Aurora, IL, Dan Emerson of Boston, MA and Donald Emerson of MA, nieces; Tyler, Hayle and Zeda all of Massillon. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-7 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Rev. Edd Matako will be Officiating.
