James "Tony" "Bonz" Reed

James “Tony/Bonz” Reed, 75, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2021. He was born in Massillon on August 17, 1946 to the late Harold and Margaret (Clementz) Reed. A graduate of Washington High School, James worked forty seven years as a Tool & Die Maker, retiring to spend much of his time on his boat, fishing, and island hopping on Lake Erie with family and friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid football fan and loved his Massillon Tigers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. James is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Eileen (Kracker) Reed; their sons, Jerry (Mia) Reed, and Jake Reed; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Reed and Savana Reed; four great-grandchildren; and his amazing siblings, Danny (Marilou) Reed, Mary (Tom) Dittmer, Sue (Dave) McBeth, Polly (Dave) Klecan, Betsy (Leonard) Border, Chuck (Nancy) Reed and Tom (Lisa) Reed. There will be no public calling hours or service due to health concerns of the family and friends.
