James Ronald Ridzon passed away suddenly on April 19, 2014. He was born March 25, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Marcella Ridzon. James was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School and completed training as an orthodontist at Case Western Reserve University where he graduated at the top of his class in 1970. He was a US Naval officer where he served in Taiwan as a Navy dentist. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn (McQuern) Ridzon, whom he married on July 3, 1965; his brother John Ridzon of Houston; his children Richard J. and Susan E. Ridzon; and his granddaughters Megan and Brooke. James will be remembered by his family and friends as a brilliant and talented man who kept everyone laughing with his quick wit. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 25, 2014 at St. Peter's Church on Cleveland Ave in Canton. There will be no vistation.
