James R. Mohn

James “Jim” R. Mohn, age 70 of Massillon, passed away on January 21, 2021. He was born on September 20, 1950 to the late Robert and Mary (White) Mohn in Akron, Ohio. He was a 1969 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Jim worked as Sheet Metal Worker in the HVAC industry until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling for work. Before Jim’s health began to decline, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and at one point in time ran a dairy farm. Jim will be remembered as loyal and good friend. He will be missed by his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Tracy (Ed) Poland, Jamie Skelly, and Jenny (Jake) Durastanti; his grandchildren Kyle Poland, Dakota Skelly, Braxton Skelly, Skylar Durastanti and Trent Durastanti; his sisters Merle Lynn and Sue Caldwell; his brothers Steve Mohn and Ron (Dianne) Mohn, his stepmother Betty Mohn; his best friend from childhood Roger (Debbie) Smith and a host of family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joan Cebull. In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. The family would like to thank Chelsea Huffman and the nurses at Aultman Hospital for Jim’s exceptional care during his final illness.
