James “Jim” R. Keehn, age 84 of Massillon, passed away on May 17, 2017. He was born in Harmon, Ohio on October 29, 1932 to the late Russell and Ruby (Graber) Keehn. He was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. James married Sylvia Fryfogle on June 26, 1954 and they shared 63 years together. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Timken Company retiring in 1982 as a Supervisor. He enjoyed yardwork and model trains. He loved the Massillon Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a long time member of First United Methodist Church. Jim is survived by his wife; his children Cathy (Pete) Truemper, Donn Keehn and Denise (Greg) Bennett; his grandchildren Mandy (Jaime), Sarah, Kyle, Donn Jr., Chelsey, Scott and Tyler; his great-granchildren Sylvia, Colten, and Harper; his brother Jack Keehn and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Cass. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church of Massillon 301 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, OH 44646 - 330-833-8329.
