James R. Graber, age 75 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. He was born on March 12, 1935 in East Greenville, Ohio and was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Shade) Graber. In 1953, he graduated from Washington High School where he played in the band for 3 years. In 1985, he retired from the former Tyson Roller Bearing Company. Jim was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the Basketball Booster Club and Reese’s Raiders. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and Robert Graber. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn L. (Patterson) Graber, whom he married on June 12, 1971, his sons, Scott (Anna) Graber and Tim (Denise) Graber all of Massillon, his daughter, Heidi (Norman) Hall of Orrville and his sister, Judy (Tom) Hickman of North Lawrence. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ben & Nick Graber, Aaron, Shannon and Jesse Hall, great grandson Tenyson Graber, step grandchildren, Stacy Senff, Stephanie (Don) Geitchey and Brandon, Christopher and Kasey Orlando and step great grandchildren, Bailey and Sidney Senff and Jordan Carey and Reagan Geitchey. Funeral services for family and friends will take place on Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Rev. Edd Matako officiating. Burial will follow at East Greenville Cemetery.
