James O. Mckelvey

James O. McKelvey, age 85, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at his resdience. Jim was born September 26, 1926 at Shadyside, Ohio to the late George & Oma (McMillen) McKelvey. He was a graduate of Perdue University with a degree in chemical engineering and served in the Navy. Jim had worked for the former Griscom-Russell Co, Goodyear Tire and Hydro Dyne. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years A. Isobel (Wilson) McKelvey of the residence, a sister Jane McKelvy Numbers of Leesburg, VA. and several nieces and nephews. Services for the family will be Saturday followed by burial at Newman Creek Cemetery.
