James Lee Kenny

James Lee Kenny, age 77 of Canton, Ohio, passed away on February 18, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his family. James was born on April 6, 1943 to John Klus and Evelyn Frizzell in Massillon. He served in the US Army and Airforce. He retired from the State of Ohio as a security guard and then worked as an electrical specialist at Home Depot. James loved his Harley Davidson and was a member of the HOG club for many years. He enjoyed bass fishing and spending time on his boat. He also enjoyed playing and tinkering on the computer. James is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Shaffer and sister, Linda Abraham. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Vicky, children, Samantha (Larry) Davis, and James Lee (DeLeena) Kenny, II, grandchildren, James Lee Kenny, III, Jacob Kenny, Joshua Kenny, Logan Davis, Ryan Davis, and Mason Davis, brother, Gary (Dot) Shaffer, step-children, Christopher Stanford, Angela (Adam) Burick, and Casandra (Kurt) Yoder, step-grandchildren, Collin Burick, Carter Burick, Caragan Burick, Colton Stanford, Cooper Stanford, Korbin Yoder, and Cortney Yoder. Friends and family may come to call on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. and will be live streamed at the link below.
