James L Slinger

James L Slinger Jr., 83, of Massillon, passed away May 16, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born on December 16, 1934, son of the late James and Margaret Slinger. He attended Washington High School, Bowling Green University and was a US Army Veteran. Survived by wife Rosemary (Muzi) Slinger; sons Jeffery (Monica), Michael (Karen), Christopher (Heather); daughter Julie (Howard); 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother David Slinger; and sister Sally Shaw. Memorial service will be held at 11am on May 25, 2018, in the Grace United Church of Christ on Main Street in Massillon, with Pastor James Painting officiating.
