James L. Eckert

James L. Eckert, 79 of Navarre, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at Aultman Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on April 28, 1930 in Tiffin, Ohio the son of the late Bernard and Lula Mae Eckert. James served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Navarre V.F.W. Post 9795. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann (Waldon) Eckert of Massillon; his children and their spouses, Kim (Jerry) Shackle of Tuscarawas Twp., Terri (Joe) Clem of Lexington, OH, Cathy (Harold) Brown of Massillon and Bill (Edna) Robison of Indiana; his grandchildren, Annette, Shelly, Joshua, Ryan, Sarah, Jennifer, Brandon, Justin, Joseph, James and Jillian and 9 great-grandchildren.
