James L. Brown

James L. "Jim" Brown, age 67 passed away on September 13, 2015. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on October 12, 1947 to the late Durwood and Edna (Dolen) Brown. He grew up in Portage Lakes. Jim was a 1966 graduate of Coventry High School. He married Sharon "Sherry" L. Robinson on June 24, 1989 and they shared 26 years together until his passing. Jim served his country in the United States Army following high school. He worked for many years until his retirement from Fresh Mark Inc. Jim was a diehard Harley Davidson fan. Whether it was riding the open roads with Sherry or tinkering on his bike. He loved being outside. Jim was known as a quiet man who kept to himself, but beneath the quiet exterior he was also known as a giving and kind man whose memory will be cherished by his loving wife, and friends. In addition to his wife Sherry, Jim is survived by his sister Cher Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Dean Brown. In accordance with Jim's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
