James K Laird

James K. Laird, age 59 of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away on March 12, 2021. James was born on August 20, 1961 in Massillon to Billy Joe and Catherine Laird. He enjoyed working on cars, doing bodywork, and racing. He was an entrepreneur and started many small businesses. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William Laird and Sammy Joe Laird, sister, Cora Laird, and daughter, Nicole Laird. James is survived by his sons, Jason Laird and Timothy Perkins, and grandchildren, Avalyn and Scarlett Laird. Friends and family may come to call on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
