James "Jimmy" Moore

March 3, 1949 — May 10, 2024

James (Jimmy) Moore, born on March 3, 1949, passed away May 10, 2024.

Jimmy was a dedicated Air Force veteran and a passionate enthusiast of both classic automobiles and Cleveland Sports.

He is survived by his wife Carla, sister, Louann and several nieces and nephews. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Frank and Charlotte (Lottie) Moore. Jimmy had a keen eye for finding "diamond-in-the-rough" cars, particularly late-model convertibles with low mileage and well-tuned engines. He took great pride in sharing the stories of his automotive finds and was always eager to help family members navigate the car-buying process with his expert knowledge. A lifelong fan of Cleveland's baseball team, whether they were the Indians or the Guardians, Jimmy never missed an opportunity to enjoy a game. He treasured the experience of watching games on TV, listening to them on the radio, or, best of all, attending in person. His last visit to a Cleveland game was a celebration of his favorite traditions, complete with peanuts, popcorn, and Cracker Jacks as he soaked in every moment of the game. Jimmy's love for cars and Cleveland sports left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Paquelet Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service at 3:00pm. Burial will be private at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
