James G. Dutton

James G, Dutton, age 76 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born in Massillon on July 3, 1940 and was the son of Katherine (Karrenbauer) Dutton and the late Howard Dutton. Jim was a 1959 graduate of Washington High School. He was the owner of Tremont TV and was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong member of the Elms Country Club, but his true love was spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a fun loving man who never knew a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Dutton. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Bullock) Dutton, whom he married on January 28, 1961, their children, Jill Paulus and her husband Mark, Connie Spuhler and her husband Dave and Tom Dutton, eight grandchildren, Amanda, Max, Macy, Madison and Jansen Paulus and Katie, Nicole and Samantha Spuhler, his great granddaughter Penelope Watts, his mother Katherine Dutton and his sister Sally Dutton Costello and her husband Vince. A service to celebrate Jim's life will take place at the Paquelet Funeral Home Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Brian Cline officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Zimmerman for the excellent care that he provided.
