James E. Young, Sr.

A guardian angel was gained on October 12, 2018 as the Young family mourned the passing of Jim Young Sr. Jim was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and began his family there before moving with them to Canton, Ohio where he has resided for the past 50 years. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing, watching Bengals football, craftsmanship, spending time in Florida, and most of all making everyone laugh. His fun-loving personality and orneriness is how many would describe what they loved most about him because even on your worst day, he could make you smile. Jim was loved by many including his family. He is survived by his wife Marlene Young, his three children; James Young Jr., Dennis Young, Karin Myers and their families, and his sister Joyce Matthey and family.
