James E. Turner

James E. Turner, age 72 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday at Affinity Medical Center. Jim was born February 5, 1936 in Ashland, AL to the late James E. & Bernice Turner and moved to Massillon as a young man. He served his country in the Army and received an honorable discharge. He retired from Massillon Steel Castings, Ecko Mfg. and was currently employed by Hertz Car Rental. He is survived by his wife, Sara (Mosley) Turner; two children, Geneita Lyvette Turner, James D. Turner; two step children, Angela Harkless and Troy Mosley; sister, Flora Durrell and eleven grandchildren. A Remembrance of James E. Turner’s Life will be 11 AM Monday at Friendship Baptist Church, Rev. Reginald Hye will offer the eulogy. His final resting place will be Oakwood Cemetery.
