James E. Moore

James E. Moore, 50 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. Jim was born on December 27, 1967 in Massillon the son of the late Carl and Letitia (Huffman) Moore. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a graduate of Washington High School. Jim enjoyed NASCAR, and playing billiards at the Massillon Tavern Eight Ball League. Jim was also involved at the Make Away House. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Hintz and his cousin, Barbie Lashley. He is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Shawn Emperley) Moore; his brother, Bill (Lisa) Moore; his aunt, Joni Glispie, cousins, Tessa Wells, Billy Khune and Todd Bair; and his sister-in-law, Tami Hintz. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
