James D. Cleavenger

James D. Cleavenger, 47, passed away on October 19, 2021, following a brief illness. He was born in Fremont, California on February 11, 1974. James was a self-employed mechanic. James also worked for Auto Specialties and a few Tire Shops. He loved to work on things. It didn’t matter what it was. He is survived by his children, Kristina Smith, James D. Cleavenger Jr., Kaylea Cleavenger, Brittany Cleavenger and Dakota Cleavenger; companion, Melissa Smith; grandchildren, Garrick Jr, Taeveon, Xzavier, Thalia, Lianna and Kay’Lynn; mother, Kandie (Elrod) Hess; and 11 brothers and a sister. James was preceded in death by his father, James M. Cleavenger. Graveside service at 10:30am in Oakwood Cemetery on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
