James "Curt" Curtis Morrison

James “Curt” C. Morrison, age 69 of Massillon passed away on January 24, 2019. He was born in Massillon on October 31, 1949 to the late Dennis and Jessie (Thoburn) Morrison. He attended Washington High School. Curt served in the Air Calvary with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He worked as Steel Worker at Republic Steel until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing softball. Curt was a fun loving guy who enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He was a loving brother, uncle and great uncle. Curt is survived by his children Angelique (Eric) Pearson and Kurt Morrison; his sister Ruth (Jack) Urwin; his nephew Todd Urwin and niece Jennifer Danner; his great nephew and niece Tyler and Madison Danner and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother John Morrison. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Monday, February 04, 2019 at 5p.m. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5p.m. Donations in Curt’s memory can be made to Crossroads Hospice -3743 Boettler Oaks Drive – Suite E, Green, OH 44685 for their care during Curt’s final illness.
