James Charles Freidly

James Charles Freidly, 79, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Affinity Medical Center. Jim was born in Steubenville, Ohio on March 8, 1938 to Guy and Jane (Raygor) Freidly. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jim married Laura Koehler on May 22, 1965. They shared 51 loving years together. Jim worked in sales for the food industry for most of his life. He loved to golf and attend car shows. Jim was also a past member of the Moose Lodge for over 20 years. His greatest passion was watching his grandkids play sports. Jim was also an avid Massillon Tiger Fan and a season ticket holder for over 50 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Laura; sons, Todd (Holly) Freidly and Mark (Laurie) Freidly; grandchildren, Aaron Freidly, Cole Freidly, Allison Freidly, Lauren Freidly and Ellie Freidly; sister, Dianne Meek. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Barb's Church in Massillon.
