James C. Kuntz

James C. Kuntz, age 74, of Massillon passed away Wednesday morning surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Massillon on January 8, 1934 to the late Charles & Laura (Meyer) Kuntz. After graduating from WHS in 1952, James then joined the Navy Reserves. On May 28, 1960 James married the love of his life, Marilyn J. Nolt. After 35 years, James retired from Enduro Stainless. After retiring he enjoyed traveling, gardening, wine making and chair caning. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. James was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Charlotte Matthews. Survived by wife, Marilyn Kuntz of Massillon; two daughters Karen and Douglas Boatright of Reynoldsburg, Cathleen Doty of Massillon; two sons, Daniel and Patricia Kuntz of Australia, John and Kimberly Kuntz of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Cory, Cari and Dayna Boatright, Ryan and Matthew Kuntz, Zachary, Aaron and Nathan Doty, Kaitlyn and Andrew Kuntz. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will take place at St. Clements Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph's Educational Fund or Mercy Cancer Center Complimentary Medicine.
