James A. Amburgey

James A. Amburgey, age 70 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, June 08, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Middletown, OH. James was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School. He worked for Timken Co. for 35 years. James was a member of Clinton Lodge #47 F. & A. M. in Massillon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Amburgey in 2003, his son, Steven J. Amburgey in 2000 and his father, August Amburgey. He is survived by his children, Christine Weinsheimer, Cathleen Amburgey both of Massillon and Cynthia (Jude) Jeffery of Louisville, KY; his mother, Mary Swim of Salem; his brother, Ronald (Barbara) Amburgey of Massillon; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Stark Co. There will be no calling hours.
