Jacquelyn Sue Skelly

April 13, 1946 — June 14, 2024

Jacquelyn Sue Skelly, 78, of Wadsworth, passed away June 14, 2024 at Hospice Of The Western Reserve.

Born in Massillon April 13, 1946, she graduated from Washington High School and went on to work as a Library Aide in Massillon City elementary schools for many years until retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Jacquie was extremely dedicated to her family and friends and loved spending time with them. She was known for her daily/weekly ‘I love you’ calls. Her positive attitude, strength and determination during her long battle with health issues were an inspiration to many.

Jacquelyn is survived by her loving husband, James W. Skelly; their children, Laureen (Michael) Ferry and Tiffany (Douglas) Wiltanger; grandchildren, Ashley Martinez, Jonathon Ferry, Elizabeth (Ben) Bowman, Leah Ferry, and Jocelyn Wiltanger; sister-in-law, Rosanne Miller; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Elizabeth (Smith) Miller; and siblings, Dale Miller and Molly Miller.

The family will host an open house to celebrate Jacquie's life on June 30, 2024 from 11am-5pm at 330 Great Oaks Trail, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
