Jacqueline Watson

Jacqueline Watson, age 64 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 4, 2014. Jacki was born on January 21, 1950 in Canton the daughter of the late Willard William and Melba Ruth (Gillespie) Watson. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Jacki worked as an LPN for many years retiring in 1981. She loved pets, plants, and crafts, especially ceramics and dried flower arrangements. She also loved reading. She will be missed by her loving daughters and grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Drew Baecker in 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Melody (Bill) McDougald, Jennifer Loshark, and Katherine Fisher; her grandchildren, Morgan, Megan, Liam, Kyra, and Michael; her sisters and brother, Judith (Bill) Stump, James (Debbie) Watson, Janice (Bruce) Harvey, and Joan (Mike) Nicewarner. A Celebration of Jacki's Life will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home: 1100 Wales Rd. N.E., Massillon, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 1-2 p.m., before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark Co. Humane Society.
