Jack L. Hoffman

Jack L. Hoffman, 89 of North Canton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Inn at University Village. He was born on August 22, 1925 in Massillon and was the son of the late Elmer and Mary (Fair) Hoffman. Jack served his country during World War II with the U. S. Navy on the U.S.S. Columbia. He then went on to earn his pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University. He was past president of the Ohio Pharmacists Association and was a past commander of the American Legion in Greentown, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Williams) Hoffman in 2008. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jack R. (Debbie) Hoffman, Miki (David) Dyer, Marcia (Tom) Gier and Brett Hoffman. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his brother Richard Hoffman. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Cremation has taken place and he will be interred with his wife privately.
