Jack Gramse

February 26, 1926 — January 28, 2011

Jack Gramse, age 84, passed peacefully from this life into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior Jan. 28, 2011. Jack was a resident of Canal Fulton, Ohio. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing and traveling throughout Amish Communities, providing transportation to his many friends. His passion throughout life was assisting Food Kitchens for the poor and also working with Church Bus Ministries of various churches. He had a loving heart for the less fortunate children of this world. He attended Grace Community Church in Massillon and enjoyed his many friends within the ministry. He always tried to live by example and witnessed his faith at every opportunity. He will be sadly missed by many. Jack Gramse is survived by his dear wife Dorothy of 63 years of marriage. Three children, Yvonne Gramse of Ashland; John (Lynette) Gramse of Savannah, Georgia; and Esther (Dale) Jones of Canton. Grandchildren, Megan Gramse of Canal Fulton, Rachel (Chris) Byrd of North Canton, and Sarah (Justin) Liddle of Akron., Colton (Renee) Smith of Louisville, Derek (Casey) Smith of Alliance and great grandchildren, Caleb and Alaina Gramse of Canal Fulton and Isaac of Louisville. A service to celebrate the life of Jack Gramse will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugar Creek, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
