Jack A. Marsh

Jackie A. Marsh, age 79 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was born in Alexandra, WV on June 21, 1937 and was the son of the late Oscar and Agnes (Lee) Marsh. He served a brief stint in The U.S. Air Force and worked at Republic Steel for 31 years. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on old cars. He was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Marsh, his brothers, Richard Marsh, Oscar Marsh and Bobby Marsh, his sister LaDonna and his son-in-law Steve David. He is survived by his son, Rick Marsh and his wife Cindy, his daughter Pam David, his grandchildren, Jacklyn Adkins and her husband Brandon and son Hunter, Stephanie Booth and her husband Scott and daughters, Tori and Ashley and Jennifer Jenkins and her husband John and daughters Riley Alexa, his sisters, Nancy and Darlene and his brothers, John, Michael and Eddie. The funeral will take place at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Cecil Thayer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12-1 p.m.
