Ivery M Crews

Ivery M. Crews, age 89 of Massillon, crossed over to glory on Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born on November 25, 1920 in Birmingham, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Betty Ann (Fields) Needham. She was a Massillon resident since 1966. She enjoyed cooking, baking and loved children. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Crews and 7 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Isaac Crews of Massillon and David L. Crews of Omaha, NE and 4 grandchildren. Also surviving are her special friends Castonia and Nadine Wallace and Beverly Harper. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Anthony Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 P.M.
