Innie M. Foster, age 88 of Massillon, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Affinity Medical Center. Innie was born on June 14, 1923 in Grady, AL the daughter of the late Thom and Millie (Johnson) Wesley. Innie worked for Dayton Sewing Co. of Canton for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thamon Foster in 1981, her son, Will Henry Foster, her daughter, Maxine Foster Simpson, her brothers, Earl, R.C., I.D., and Arthur Nickerson and her sister, Annie Nickerson. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Thamon Foster; her grandchildren, Melissa, Andre, Alonzo, Andrew IV, Aric, Aaron and Marcus Simpson and Andrea Sestito; her step-granddaughter, Earline Adams; her great-granddaughter Daja Simpson and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, John Allen and her special friend Sharon Faulkner. A Homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday at 11 A.M. at Friendship Baptist Church. Pastor Reginald J. Hye will be officiating. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
