Inez W Allen

Inez W. Allen, age 88 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on February 5, 2021. She was born on October 31, 1932 to the late Walter and Mary Russell in Massillon. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Inez married Leroy Allen on February 28, 1973 and they shared almost 48 years until his passing on December 05, 2020. Inez worked as a home healthcare aid until her retirement. She loved the Lord, she also served as Foster Mother through The Twelve Inc. Inez also enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking and most all she loved people. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great- grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Inez leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carol (Roger) Johnson, Paulette Oliver, Mary Anne Williams, George (Denice) Oliver, Bruce (Willa) Oliver, and Eunice Oliver; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; her brother Walter Russell Jr; someone who was like a son, Ray Dansby and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Inez was preceded in death by her daughter Rechelle Stokes; her sisters Kate Robinson, Pauline Franklin and Viola Williams and her brothers James Russell and Jimmy Russell. A Celebration of her life will be held and livestreamed Facebook Live Streaming at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11a.m. Pastor Webb Parsons will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
