Ilo B. Bess

Ilo Bennett Bess, age 91 of Green, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Rose Lane Nursing Home in Jackson Twp. She was born on August 17, 1915 in Camden, WV to the late Benny and Maude Vaughn. She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle for 51 years. Her greatest enjoyment was her Lord and family. She was never happier than when her house was full of family and friends. She is survived by her husband, William N. Bess, of 74 years of marriage, sons: William H. (Carol Ann) Bess of Green and Robert D. (Betty) Bess of Massillon, daughters; Mary Y. (Dale) Dickson of West Grove, PA, Martha Ann (Dennis) Young of Canton and Linda L (Joseph) Clark of Barberton, brother; Ebon Vaughn of N. Canton, OH, 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle located at 3120 Lincoln Way E. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle on Saturday. Rev. Harold Strange will be Officiating. Burial will follow at East Liberty Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Building Fund at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle, 3120 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
