Ida Pedrotty, age 93, of Massillon, peacefully passed away due to natural causes (Non COVID-19) on January 21, 2021. She was born in Rancone, Austria on December 13, 1927 to the late Henry and Theresa Pizzini. Ida was 1945 graduate of Washington High School She married Wilbert M. Pedrotty Jr., on October 18, 1947 and they shared 71 years until his passing in 2018. Ida worked as a Beautician, J.C. Penney, Stark County Law Library – Massillon Branch and GAP office interiors. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, baking , sewing, crotcheting and most of all she loved her family time, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ida was a lifetime parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon, served as past president of their Christian Mothers’ group, Volunteered over 3000 hours at Massillon Community Hospital and numerous other community organizations. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dennis (Donna) Pedrotty, Pamela (Joe) Studeny, Gregory (Jodi) Pedrotty and Lori (Dave) Stuart; her grandchildren Dawn Pedrotty, M.D. & PhD., Niki (Kyle) Rotthoff, Michael (Emily) Studeny, Gavin (Kathryn) Pedrotty, Kurt (Cynthia) Pedrotty, M.D., Adam (Sara) Studeny and Casey Jo Stuart and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Ida was preceded in death by her sister Dolores Snell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Fr. Raymond Paul will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required. If you are not feeling well, or if you have a compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home. Donations in Ida’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
