Homer Ronney "Hookie" Shaffer Ii

Homer Ronney "Hookie" Shaffer II, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Hookie was born on March 30, 1977 in Canton, the son of Homer and Margie (Newland) Shaffer I. Ronney was a lifelong resident of the area. He worked for Stark Truss. Hookie will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his big heart and his optimism on life. He was preceded in death by his sister Ronda Shaffer. He is survived by his parents Homer Shaffer I and Margie Shaffer; his daughter Shawnie Shaffer; his siblings, Jesse Shaffer, Jamie (Roger) Lambert, Maggie Shaffer, and Shana Shaffer; and his niece and nephews, Kamila and Ramon De Lapaz and Roger and Vinton Lambert. A Celebration of Hookie's life will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
