Homer J. Fulton, 90, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at The Canton Christian Home. He was born on January 12, 1923 in Medina to the late Homer R. and Lily (Weaver) Fulton. He was a veteran of World War II where he served as a pilot in the 80th Troop Carrier Squadron, United States Army Air Corp. He graduated from Michigan State University and was employed at The Timken Company, retiring in 1982. He was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, a life member of The Wilderness Center and the Canton Masonic Lodge No. 60 F.&A.M.. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Corinne M. (Wallace) Fulton in 2007; brothers Ceylon and Neal Fulton. Homer is survived by his daughters Kryn Henderhan of North Canton and Rebecca (Ernie) Gaertner of Cincinnati; grandchildren Kurt Gaertner , Brad (Mary) Gaertner and Lindsay (Kyle) Kings; sister Mary Louise (Jerry) Luzader and brother Vance Fulton of Florida. The family would like to thank the staff of The Canton Christian Home and Community Hospice for their wonderful care of Homer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00AM at John Knox Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Houston officiating. Friends may call from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. Burial will be private at North Canton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church or The Wilderness Center.
