Hiroko Branch, age 79 of Massillon, passed away on March 23, 2021, with her daughters by her side. She was born on April 14, 1941. She married her husband David on September 29, 1970 in Okinawa, Japan and then came to the United States in 1973. She enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful flower beds. She spent the last four years living at Danbury Senior Living of Massillon, where she enjoyed live music, weekly bingo, and crafts. While at the Danbury, she made many new friends who affectionately called her “Koko.” The residents and staff held a special place in her heart. Hiroko was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Sean) Stephen, and Michelle (Dennis) Caldwell, grandchildren, Valerie Caldwell, Alexander Stephen, and Daniel Caldwell, special niece, Tomoko (James) Peacock, and close friends, Mary Beth Dorner, and Louise Maleski. A special thank you to the staff at Danbury Senior Living for treating her like family, taking great care of her, and adding years to her life. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
