Hider Elsie

Elsie Fay Hider, 70 of Massillon, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1940 in Dexter City, OH the daughter of the late Joseph Okey and Ethel May (Delancey) Gore. Elsie was a homemaker. She married Carl Leroy Hider and he preceded her in death October 19, 2000. Elsie is survived by her daughter Carol (David) Burtt of Massillon; son Joseph Hider of Wilmot; grandchildren Amber Nicole Burtt, Brandi, Joseph and Jakob Hider and their mother Dee; great-grandson Brogen Wilson. Along with her parent’s, and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 26th at 8:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd NE. where the family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will be private. Donations in Elsie’s memory may be made to Community Hospice. The family would like to thank Hanover House for their care.
