Herbert H. 'Pittsburg' Kyles

Herbert H. “Pittsburg” Kyles, age 76 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2007. He was born in Eufaula, Alabama on April 16, 1930 to James L. and Vicia (Underwood) Kyles. He moved to Massillon in 1955 and worked at Republic Steel where he retired in 1981. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union Local #1124. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sarah (Stephens) Kyles of the residence; three sons, Ralph (Michelle) Kyles of Florida, Jeffery Kyles of Chicago,and Milton (Kimberly) Ware of OH; five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Harvin of PA, Vicia Kyles of Dayton; four brothers, Robert, Waymon of PA, Homer and Roosevelt Kyles of MI. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Harkless officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M..
