Henry T. 'Hank' Niezgoda Sr. age 83 of Tuscon, AZ passed away Monday May 22, 2006 in Cleveland. Hank was one of eight children born January 19, 1923 in Rachel, WV to the late Frank & Julia (Kalonka) Niezgoda. He served in the US Army and was an interpreter for the Dachau Trials following the war. He met and married his first wife 1st LT. Rita (Von Beseler) in Antwerp, Belgium, September 7, 1946; she passed away March 5, 1999 after 52 years of marriage. They moved to Massillon in 1953 and began a 50 year career as an insurance and real estate agent. Hank was a 50 year member of K of C #554, Bishop Massillon Assembly 4th Degree, American Legion Post #221 & VFW #5047. He is survived by his wife, Tillie (Toth) Niezgoda of Tuscon; Children and spouses: Teri Dew and Dr. Julie (Steve Toth) Niezgoda of Cleveland, Niki (Richard) Green and Stephanie (Peter) McGinnis of Massillon, Sheila (Ron) Oakes of North Lawrence, Henry 'Duke' (Vickie) Niezgoda and Von Niezgoda of Houston, Frank (Kathy) Niezgoda and Mark (Rose) Niezgoda of Dallas; a sister Stephanie Blazak of NJ. There are 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to gather at 10 AM Friday at St. Mary's Church in Massillon for a Memorial Mass. Interment will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
