Henry "Jim" Knobb

October 16, 1931 — March 2, 2017

Henry J. "Jim" Knobb, 85 of Massillon. Passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was born in Massillon on October 16, 1931 and was the son of the late Henry and Edna (Rohr) Knobb. After graduating from Washington High School, he served his country for 4 years with the U.S. Air Force. He worked at and retired from MCA Sign Company. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Slusser and his brother Robert Knobb. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. (Legrom) Knobb. They would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on March 19th. Also surviving are his daughter; Kim (Gary) Baysinger, his son; Michael Knobb, his grandchildren; Bryan and Jacquelyn Baysinger and Gavin Knobb and his sisters, Betty Kasunic and Kathleen Jones. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society
