Henry "Hank" F. Lindsay, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was born on May 07, 1924 to the late Roy and Rose Lindsay in Canal Fulton. Hank was a graduate of Canal Fulton High School. He married the love of his life, Maxine Fothergill on June 30, 1945 and they shared 65 years until her passing on July 05, 2010. Hank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was the founder of Lindsay Plumbing, and worked as a partner in the business until his retirement. Hank worked hard and played hard and enjoyed boating, camping, vacationing in Florida and spending time with his family. He attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, was a longtime member of MAPS; where he worked on his Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper, and was a member of the American Legion Post #221. He is survived by his children Sandy (Gary) Montgomery and Fred (Debbie) Lindsay; his grandchildren Dan (Brett Butler) Montgomery, Julie (Chris) Komarc, Jenny (Toby) Mathias, Jed (Amanda) Lindsay, Jeffrey Montgomery and Lauren Lindsay; his great-grandchildren Morgan and Nathan Lindsay and Grant and Linzie Mathias; his sisters Delores Schweitzer and Helen Shoemaker; his brother Roland(Linda) Lindsay, Sister-in-law Leona Wagner and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Hank was preceded in death by his brother Clifford (Shirley) Lindsay and a host of in-laws. A Celebration of his life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Massillon on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 6-8p.m and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Brookfield Cemetery.
