Helen Pauline(Nee Hines) Scafate

Helen Scafate, age 81 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. Helen was born on March 11, 1931 in Harrison Co. the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ruth (Thompson) Hines. Helen was a lifelong resident of the area. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Frederick E. Hines and son-in-law Steve Rodman She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sandra A. Rodman of Dallas, TX, LaDene M. (Benjamin) Curlutu of Massillon, Robert C. Jr. (Beth Ann) Scafate of Canton, Leonard J. (Theresa) Scafate of Laytonsville, MA, and Michael E. Scafate of Massillon; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
