Helen M. (Styer) Jones

Helen M. (Styer) Jones, age 83 of Canton, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born on November 6, 1923 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Peter and Marian (Daniel) Reynolds. She lived in Columbus for a portion of her life, returning to Massillon in 1997. Following graduation from Washington High School, class of 1941, Helen enrolled in Nursing School in Jackson, Michigan. She was a Registered Nurse at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church in Canton and a member of A.A.R.P. Chapter 3336 in Massillon. She is survived by her husband, Arthur M. Jones of the home, her daughters, Janet Marie Golder of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Lou (Gary) Keller of Terrell, TX and Sue Ellen (Thomas) Wilkens of Chandler, AZ, her son William Robert (Donna) Curott of Gilbert, AZ, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her stepdaughter Becky J. (Roy) Bair of Massillon, 2 stepgranddaughters and her sisters, M. June High of Brooklyn, OH, Ada Anderson of Phoenix, AZ and Mildred “Mickey” (Earl) Coen of Massillon, OH. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Massillon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. and on Monday one hour before the service from 1-2:00 P.M.
