Helen M. Bailey

Helen M. Bailey age 91 of Massillon passed away Monday July 13, 2009. Helen was born November 5, 1917 in Massillon to the late Robert & Lena (Williams) Schmidt. Helen was a 1936 graduate of Washington High School. She was employed by the former Neisner Bros Dime Store and later by Hammersmith Insurance. Helen was a life member of First United Methodist Church in Massillon and a member of the Massillon Women’s Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Bailey in 2001, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Robin & Nancy Bailey of Jackson Twp.; two granddaughters; Lynn & John Foster and Kim Bailey, and two great grandsons. Funeral Service will be 1 PM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, her pastor Rev. Leslie Peine will officiate. Friends are invited to visit with the family from Noon until the service on Friday. Memorials can be made to the Youth Group at the First United Methodist Church.
