Helen Lois Helmuth

Helen L. Helmuth, age 89 of Navarre, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021. She was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania on August 09, 1932 to the late Andrew and Georgia (Frame) Good. Helen moved to Ohio in 1941. There she was reared in a loving family by Emma and Thomas White. She was a 1950 graduate of Beach City High School. She married Marion Helmuth on December 23, 1951 and they were married for 63 years until his death in 2014. Helen worked as a secretary until her retirement. Helen’s passions in life were playing her piano, singing in the choir, and cooking for family and friends. She was a woman of strong of faith and was very involved at Dueber United Methodist Church. Helen never knew a stranger and enjoyed talking to people. She is survived by her children Susan (Kenneth) Koher, Dwight (Rebecca) Helmuth and Dyan (Kevin) Glazier; her grandchildren Neil Koher, Kaitlin Koher, Carey (Roger) Cooper, Adam Helmuth, Betsy (Josh) Ball, Matt (Christie) Helmuth, Alexandria Glazier and Gavin Glazier; her sister-in-law Shirley (Greg) Borell and a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her son LaVern Helmuth; her brothers Harold “Bud” Good, Earl Good, Ira Good, Robert Good and her sister Elsie Pangan. A Memorial Service will be held for Helen, on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10a.m. at Deuber United Methodist Church - 645 Deuber Avenue SW, Canton, Ohio 44706.
