Helen L. Metzgar

Helen L. Metzgar, 92 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016. She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 29, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Ila (Thompson) Ferry. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Metzgar and her sister Irene Pruitt. Helen is survived by her daughter Michelle (Jack Kindelberger) Street, her son Charles M. (Deb) Metzgar, grandchildren, Alan (Jasmine) Wendling and Bethany Wendling, great grandchildren, Payton, Blaine and Sunny Michelle, step great grandchildren, Hannah, Kate and Lauren, her sister, Judy Ferry and her niece Debra Duell. A chapel service will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. There are no calling hours.
